Popular Gifts
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you who have donated to the Casa Foundation over the past and to let you know that every gift is important, no matter how large or small.
Your gifts to the Foundation are tax deductible if you itemize deductions on your tax return. In 2019, the ceiling was raised on cash gifts, allowing taxpayers to deduct charitable contributions up to 60% of adjusted gross income. Previously, this ceiling was 50% of adjusted gross income. This is definitely a feel-good way to lower your income taxes.
We appreciate each and every gift, no matter how small, and there are usually projects that could use a little support. If you are involved on a committee looking to raise funds, let us know. Please get the word out to others that they are welcome to make tax-deductible contributions through the Casa Foundation.
